I have been watching this store on tiktok since she opened. I drove all the way from south georgia to come here. It happened to be my birthday and the stores.i loved the decor and the games they were playing while you shopped. Over all great experience.

Such a cute, quirky bookstore! If you're lucky, there will be a cute puppy dog there to greet you! They have a large selection of books, stickers, puzzles, and more! The staff was friendly and attentive. They interacted with every customer and offered help. I found several Heated Rivalry stickers and bookmarks. I highly recommend making a stop here!

If you’re a Swiftie, this place will make your heart Begin Again. Sweeter Than Fiction is absolutely adorable! The whole place is perfectly themed to Taylor Swift, and they absolutely nailed the vibe. Everywhere you look there’s something cute, clever, or totally Instagram-worthy. The merch options feel endless — I could have browsed for hours. It’s such a fun stop whether you’re a casual fan or full-on Swiftie, and I genuinely can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in Charleston. An easy must-visit! 💕🎶🪩

The absolute cutest book store. Romance books only, but they sale stationary, apparel, tote bags. The decor alone is worth seeing. Terrific service.

The vibes here are pure magic! I’ve been dying to visit Sweeter Than Fiction for a long time now since it combines two of my absolute favorite things: romance books and Taylor Swift. This store is truly magical. Everyone is so friendly and it’s amazing being in a space with others who are just as excited about it as you are. The selection of books is awesome, and the other knick-knacks is *chefs kiss* 💋. Can’t wait to stop in again the next time we’re in Charleston!!

Absolutely loved this bookstore! 💕 The curation of romance titles was top tier — every shelf felt perfectly picked for book lovers. The bookish merch was amazing (honestly, I wanted one of everything!), and the Taylor Swift nods throughout the store were such a fun, thoughtful touch. You can feel the passion that went into creating this space. I could’ve spent hours here! Such an incredible bookstore — I just wish I was local so I could visit all the time! ✨📚💖

This Romance centered book store was so FUN! They have a ton of stickers and romantasy memorabilia that it was hard to limit my purchases. I also appreciate a store with fun Taylor Swift themed merch.

We spent the day in Charleston and this bookstore was one of the highlights of our day! The store is nicely decorated, organized, spacious and clean. The owner was very personable. We will definitely return and encourage others to check out this gem!

Today was my second time visiting while in Charleston. This is such a cute, well-organized store. Only romance books can be purchased here, with multiple sub categories. It was perfection. The ladies working were extremely helpful! I’m an avid reader so finding something new can be a challenge. I walked out with 3 new books I would never have chosen without their guidance. Can’t wait to start reading! Also a must for Taylor swift fans and those who love bookish swag.

SO CUTE!! i was visiting from pa for my bday- there is so much to look at. the owner is so kind and friendly, she gave me many recommendations and made great conversation. they have a cute photo spot- my bf was the designated photographer for many customers lol.
